HaivoronIt is known since first half XVIII century as cossack settlement.
The 1st soviet emblem
It was confirmed at March, 21st, 1989 by the decision of executive committee of city council. Board per pale by gules and azure. In the first part is the half of sable raven with or beak and paws. In the second part is half of oak. The argent base is executed as a railway emblem. In the argent chief is an or cossack sabre, horse-tail and gules fire. Cossack attributes mean, that the city has arisen on a place old cossack settlements. The railway emblem means, that the city found by the development of the railway. The basic field of the arms transfers the city name and specifies ancient oak groves and the characteristic representative of the bird's world - a raven symbolizing wisdom and longevity. Blue color symbolizes the river Pivdennyi Bug and unique beauty of city. The authors are A.Avdeev and V.Rusets'kyi.
The 2nd soviet emblem
It was confirmed at December, 15th, 1989 by the decision N152 the XII session of city council of XX convocation. In a vert shield with an azure canton and the gules chief is azure wavy bend, on which is a sable raven with the or beak, holding a or oak branch. Under it is the argent railway emblem - a winged wheel. In the chief of the arms are or crossed a sabre and flail, and also ornament in a gules field. In the canton is or gun with three shots. The ornament represented in the chief and sabre with flail specify occurrence of city on a place of country settlements. The emblem designates, that the beginning to city was given with the railway. Bend symbolizes the river Pivdennyi Bug on which the city is placed. A raven with an oak branch is the representative of the bird's world of city and ts vicinities. It transfers the city name and tells about neighboring oak groves. The canton specifies an administrative belonging of city to the Kirovoghrads'ka oblast'. The author is A.Avdeev. |
