Rokytne

It is known since XV-XVI centuries. In XVI century the cossacks lodged here. Belonged to K.Kosyns'kyi, the princes Ostroz'kyi's and Zaslavs'kyi's.

Since 1654 it is squadron town of Bila Tserkva regiment.

The soviet emblem

It was confirmed at 1990 by village council. The board per fess by the argent wavy fess on azure and gules parts. Under it is crossed or spear with a gules pendant and ear. In the first part is argent cube of sugar. In the second part is vert branch of a willow (brittle willow). In the canton is a chestnut blossoming branch of natural color in a gules field. In the chief of or cartouche is the sable city name in the Ukrainian language, in its base are sickle and hammer.

Piece of sugar is the symbol of the sugar industry leading in the village. A branch of a brittle willow is a symbol of the village name. The author is B.Shulevs'kyi.
