Knyazhychi

The first annalistic mentions about settlement concerns to 1125-1147. The Polish royal letter mentions about Knyazhychi as a settlement of monks at 1489.

The modern emblem

 

 

The shield per fess by gules and azure. In the first part is an or princely cap. In the second part is an or bee. The emblem adorned by or decorative cartouche and crowned by an or rural crown.

The image of a princely cap means the name of village: by national legends in modern natural boundary Dvirets' in old times stood a beautiful princely palace. The image of a or bee means that the village was property of the Mykil's'kyi monastery, and in natural boundary Pasika monks held bees. The bee symbolizes respectableness, diligence, cleanliness of thoughts, moderation, neatness, aspiration to work for the blessing of a society.

The gonfalon

 

 

Gonfalon is a rectangular panel from two equal horizontal strips - red and dark blue. In the top strip is a yellow princely cap, in bottom is a yellow bee.
