Baryshivka

The first mention refers to XVII century. It belonged a Ostroz'ky princes.

In XVII century it was a squadron town.

On XVII century stamps was expressed sitting woman in crown and with cup in right hand. Supposed that she is a Sophya Gholkevs'ka who cared from city.

The modern emblem

It was confirmed at April, 21st, 1998, by decision of village council session. There is St.Sophya in azure dress and gules cape, with or crown with nimbus in the or field. In a right hahd she keeps a gules cup. The author is A.Grechylo.

The gonfalon

It was confirmed at April, 21st, 1998, by decision of village council session. A rectangular canvas with a ratio of the sides: 1:1. It has blue traingle from staff to media a free edging. In the triangle is a yellow tighted bow and an arrow to staff. In the two yellow top and bottom fields is a two crimson stars with eight rows. It symbolizes Baryshivka how a cossacs city.
