Borodyanka

The first mention about Kozyatychi village refers to 1190. It was burned by Tatars later. Next mention refers to 1509 in gentry Makarevych documents.

The soviet emblem

The soviet emblem was confirmed at February, 15, 1990. A shield per fale azure and gules by or spear with banner. There is natural stork above crossed vert oak leaf and pine branch in the center. In the canton a natural-colored chestnut branch in an azure field. There is word "BORODYANKA" in the chief of cartouche and crossed sickle with hammer in a base. The author is B.Shulevs'kyi.
