Holtva

The first mentions refer to 1097 when a settlement was one of the fortifications of Kyiv Rus'.

Since 1648 it was a squadron town of Myrhorod regiment.

The emblem of the Russian period

The emblem of the Russian period was confirmed on the 4th of June 1782. In a gules field an argent saber and an arrow with their sharp points up in cross.
