Monachynivka

It was found in the end of ÕVII century. By the one version, the name occurs from a surname of cossack Monachyn. By another, this district was marshy. In bogs twisted jacks sandpipers which have folk name "bulls" by their loud voice. People spoke: "Guest (mana) makes any bad business". Village name has appeared by word "mana".

The modern emblem

Gules; or kobza. In the vert head is or oak branch which has three leaf and acorns. The arms is edged by decorative cartouche and decorated by a rural crown.

Both fields are connected to stay in village G.S.Skovoroda. The oak branch symbolizes the oaks planted by him, one of which has received now memorial registration. Kobza reminds that he liked to play on it.
