Derhachi

It was found at 1660 as Cossacks settlement. One of legends says, that at one time in the cane of Lopan' river banks lived landrails (derkach on the Ukrainain), and this birds was reason the village name. It was renamed in 1943.

The modern emblem

The board is per fess and in base per pale. In the first vert part is Kharkiv emblem. In the second or part is natural landrails among canes accompanied with an or ear. In the third part in an azure field is argent contour of power stations also accompanied with an or ear. At the centre on an argent escutcheon with or beams is azure paty cross.
